Smart Workpaper Add-In Installation

If you wish to deploy the Add-in for all users in a Terminal Server environment, refer to:

Download the latest copy of the installer by logging into the HowNow Smart Workpapers Website and selecting Install (alternatively you can download the add-in here) or if you use MYOB Document Manager in your firm, please click here to follow the installation process required. 

After downloading, ensure Excel is closed, and run the installation file.

After the installation has completed open Excel and confirm it has been installed Correctly.

In Excel - Select >File >Options >Add-ins. You should now see the following two components:

Note: the version number is only an example and not the current version

In a Non-Terminal Server installation these files are installed in their > AppData > Local folder - E.G. C:\users\[user name]\AppData\Local\BusinessFitness\HowNow Smart Workpapers\...

In Excel - >open a Smart Workpaper >File >Smart Workpapers >Login. You should now be able to log in successfully if not already. This should be performed automatically from now on, though Excel can sometimes disable the Add-ins. In which case you can go through this Normal Installation process again, or check your Add-ins haven't been disabled - >File >Options >Add-ins >Manage.
